The high school environmental science students put on a bike clinic for Mr. Reynolds's gym classes. They wanted to promote bike riding as a more environmentally friendly mode of transportation. Thank you to Logan Health Trauma/ER nurses Courtney and Katrina who led a discussion with the students about helmet safety as well as the importance of sunscreen when playing outside. Chief Deputy/School Resource Officer Dan McDonough helped lead an obstacle course to discuss how to navigate roads while demonstrating the proper safety precautions and learning traffic rules. ReACT volunteers helped make goody bags and to promote good choices.
