Academic success is our ultimate goal at Shelby Public Schools—that is why we are here. Our activities are an important extension of that mission and provide students with opportunities to develop their interests, discover their passions, and grow as individuals and team members.
Participation in activities is a privilege that comes with great responsibility. When you participate in an activity, you represent not only yourself and your team, but also Shelby Public Schools and our entire community. We are proud of our students and expect them to represent our school and community with pride, respect, and integrity.
Be proud. Dress appropriately. Look your best. Work hard. Treat others with respect. The way you conduct yourself, both on and off the field, court, stage, or activity, reflects on all of Shelby Public Schools. Our community supports our students in countless ways, and we should always strive to show our appreciation by being positive representatives of Shelby.
I am extremely excited about the upcoming school year and look forward to watching our students learn, compete, perform, and grow throughout the year.
