Content:
Senior Seminar prepares students for successful management of their personal finances as well numerous other life skills. It is a course that addresses the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors associated with the management of family economics and financial education. A project-based approach will be used.
Expectations:
Come to class every day, on time.
Students are expected to participate in class activities and exercises.
Follow oral and written instructions.
Complete all homework assignments within specific time.
Students are expected to treat each other with respect.
Be prepared to work independently or in small groups.
Students are expected to work hard and have fun learning.

Methods of presentation:
Instruction will focus on hands-on activities as well as lecture, group discussion, guest speakers, technology and other impactful methods. Students will have the opportunity to work individually and as part of small groups to complete assignments. Projects will require students to use academic skills in language arts, math, social sciences, and science. Community resources will be access through guest speakers, conducting panel discussions, and organized field trips.
