Content:                                
Health Enhancement is an introduction to creating a healthy lifestyle.  The basic principles of fitness and wellness will be the primary focus.

Expectations:                        
Follow directions the first time they are given.
Be in the gym before the tardy bell rings.
Be prepared for class. (gym clothes and shoes)
Respect self and others.
Participate in the assigned activity.

Skills Taught:           
How to create a healthy lifestyle.
Gross and fine motor skills.
Anaerobic and aerobic exercise.

Methods of presentation:
The majority of class time is used for participatory experiences in large groups, small groups, pairs or working independently.
