VISION STATEMENT

To foster partnerships with the community; to enhance the commitment level of parents to prticipate and contribute in decision making at the school and district level that will benefit students.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Shelby Elementary School Site Council exists to take a pro-active role in supporting and facilitating the provision of educational opporutinitie, experiences and challenges for the students and community; thereby empowering students as lifelong learners, creative problem-solvers and caring, understanding, responsible individuals.  To this end, we will help provide the most effective resources, programs and services possible.
