Shelby School District is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to fill a K-6 Principal Position.  Strong leadership skills are essential and the ability to plan professional development, collaborate and supervise teachers.  The applicant must have the ability to build relationships with students and staff and help foster a positive and productive school climate.  The applicant must be able to work as a team with the 7-12 principal, school counselors, and district superintendent.
 
Academic Qualifications: 
 
Applicants must hold or be able to meet the qualifications for Montana Licensure with a K-12 Principal Endorsement.

Shelby, located at the crossroads of Interstate 15 and US Hwy 2, is a vibrant town on the "Montana Hi-Line." It boasts a uniquely picturesque Main Street with several blocks of locally owned businesses offering gifts, area art, clothing, quilting fabric, and jewelry. Multiple restaurants, shops, and a movie theatre round out this Northern city.
