I grew up in the Philippines. Ever since I started teaching elementary school, I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students’ interest and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students. I have always loved working with students, my goals in the classroom has always been to open their minds, touch their hearts and transform their lives. 

 

On a personal level, I have always enjoyed dancing and cheerleading.  I also like to work with charity organizations.  “Escuela sa Kalsada” was one of the programs I joined.  The program gave me the opportunity to help homeless students educationally, socially and depending on their needs.  When I’m not involved in the activities listed above, I enjoy watching movies, reading series books and cooking.

 

Teaching is my life’s work. I believe that my global perspective is going to help me prepare my students in Shelby for their future.  I will bring new ideas to my students and support them to achieve academically, develop socially while enjoying their educational experience.
