I’m Kristi Calvery, and I am the new High School English and Journalism teacher at Shelby High School.  Recently, I finished my Master of Arts in education at the University of Great Falls and really enjoy teaching students to read and write well.  I have been in education for nine years; I spent several years teaching in Baton Rouge, Louisiana before I moved back home in 2011 to Montana. I grew up on a farm and ranch southeast of Shelby, and I currently live in Conrad with my two daughters Calista and Alexis. I love to go camping, boating, and hiking in the summer and to watch college football in the fall. I am looking forward to building relationships with students, parents, and the community this year.  Please don’t hesitate to stop into my classroom and introduce yourself or contact me with any questions.
