The Shelby School Board met on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at 7:00 PM, to review a stepped approach to reopening school.
The plan includes five steps that can be used to implement educational services for Shelby students, pending the current environment surrounding COVID-19. The District is focused on Step III, as a result of the current COVID-19 situation in Toole County. The District used guidance from the OPI, the Governor's Office, the Academy of Pediatricians, and the CDC to create this plan (you can view that guidance by clicking here). The District understands that changes will occur as more is learned about COVID-19 and additional guidance or rulemaking is established.
